The University of Otago Language Centre and Foundation Year offers IELTS tests at its Queenstown Campus as well as Dunedin.
This lovely modern building has excellent facilities. Our warm and welcoming staff help to provide you with an excellent test day experience. We are perfectly located in the centre of town for convenient access and beautiful views and surroundings.
There is also plenty of parking surrounding the building and a large parking station at the end of the road and 2 minutes’ walk to the College that provides all day parking.

Important information about your IELTS test
The cost of an IELTS test in New Zealand is NZD$410.00. The price for the exam is the same whether you take IELTS General Training or IELTS Academic. There is no separate registration fee or payment processing fee. There is also no late payment fee. However, in some locations, the test fee can be slightly higher.

Booking your IELTS test is easy. Locate your closest New Zealand IELTS Test Centre here. Once you find an IELTS Test Centre and a test date that suits you, follow the steps to book your test.
You must have a clear and legible scanned copy of your current valid passport to upload when applying. The copy you upload must be of the page(s) with your photo, name, date of birth, passport number, and expiry date.

There are a few ways to pay for your IELTS test. Every test centre will have different payment options available. Generally, you will be able to use the following payment methods available:
