We understand that life doesn’t always go to plan. That’s why IELTS is the only English test that allows you to change your test date, test format, or module free of charge, right up to the test date. So, whether you need to switch from Academic to General Training, decide to take IELTS on computer instead of paper, or move your booking to a later date, IELTS is flexible to support you.
Flexible refunds
If you decide to cancel your test, you can request a full refund of your fees when you let your Test Centre know at least 14 days before your test. If you cancel your test within 14 days, but more than seven days before the test date, we’ll refund you 50% of the fee you’ve paid. You’re not eligible for a refund if there are fewer than seven days left before your test.
Can I cancel my IELTS test?
If you choose to cancel your test, your refund amount will depend on when you notify us:
