Why test takers choose IELTS
Computer-delivered or paper-based. Academic or General Training. With IELTS, you choose how you take your test.
IELTS is also accepted as proof of English language proficiency for study, work and migration in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. By choosing IELTS, you will establish yourselves with an English language test that sets you up to succeed from day one in your study, work and migration goals
Over 11,500 organisations around the world trust IELTS as a genuine standard of English language skills. These organisations include universities, employers, immigration departments and professional bodies.
Flexibility, global acceptability and personalised preparation support are just a few reasons that IELTS is the clear choice for test takers worldwide.
The IELTS General Training test is unique in that it assesses proficiency in everyday English, as opposed to academic English tested by other test providers. This makes it easier for those aspiring migrants who may not have had extensive exposure to an academic setting.
Many countries award the same number of points for a superior IELTS score as they would for eight years of skilled employment or a four-year doctorate program.
IELTS Prepare by IDP gives you access to a range of preparation materials at your fingertips: from practice tests, videos and articles, to expert assessments, online courses, webinars and more.
