Everyone who completed an IELTS test receives an official IELTS Test Report Form. Your TRF is a certificate that reports your results as band scores which range from band 0 to band 9, with each band corresponding to a level of English-language proficiency. You will get an overall band score, as well as one for each part of the test - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

Recently, we’ve launched IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR). If you didn’t show your potential in one skill on test day, IELTS One Skill Retake allows you to retake one section of the four-part English language test.
With IELTS One Skill Retake, you will receive another official IELTS Test Report Form (TRF). This includes your updated One Skill Retake score as well as the results for the other three skills in the original test. Your original TRF will also remain valid. That means you have two separate test report forms: one with the original scores, and one with the new scores after your OSR. You can choose whether you use your original TRF or your new TRF. What is an IELTS Test Report Form (TRF)?
An IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is an official certificate detailing the results you obtained in a full IELTS test. It's an important document for anyone who has taken an IELTS test, as it provides an official record of their English language proficiency. The TRF includes a number of key details about your IELTS test performance. These include:
Personal details: A TRF includes a test taker's full name, date of birth, nationality, and photograph.
Test details: The TRF also includes the date and location of the test, as well as the test format (Academic or General Training ).
Test scores: The TRF includes the test taker's achieved scores for each of the four test skills, as well as an overall band score. The IELTS band score is a number between 0 and 9, with 9 being the highest possible score.
Test report form verification: A TRF also always includes a unique reference number. Organisations that accept IELTS use this TRF number to verify the authenticity of the document.

What is an OSR Test Report Form (TRF)?
When you sit a full IELTS test, you receive an IELTS Test Report Form (TRF). This official certificate has all the information about your test, and the band scores you achieved.

What are the differences between IELTS TRF and One Skill Retake TRF?
When you've completed your original IELTS test, you get a Test Report Form (TRF) that details the scores you've received. If you feel you didn't perform to your best in one area, IELTS One Skill Retake can help you get back on track. If you choose to retake one skill, you will get a second TRF. So, what are the differences between your original TRF and the TRF you get when you complete IELTS One Skill Retake?
Test details: Most of your test details remain the same. However, your One Skill Retake TRF will also specify The TRF also includes the date and location of the test, as well as the test format (Academic or General Training ).
Test results: The One Skill Retake TRF includes the test taker's achieved scores for the one skill that was retaken. It also includes the original scores for the three remaining skills that were not retaken. The OSR TRF will also have an overall band score , which is the average of the three original scores and the score from the retaken skill.
Test report form verification: The TRF you receive after completing One Skill Retake features a short note with information about your original test. Your One Skill retake TRF also has a unique TRF number. Organisations that accept IELTS One Skill Retake can use this TRF number to verify the authenticity of the document.
