The Campbell Institute, part of UP Education, will now deliver IELTS at their Auckland campus, thanks to a new partnership with IDP Education.
For test takers and UP Education students, the new centre will bring more convenience.
“Previously, our students had to leave our campus to sit their IELTS with other providers,” said Mark Haines, Executive Principal, University Pathways.
“We will now be able to offer IELTS to them here as an additional service to their English-language training or Foundation Course.”
The Campbell Institute will be an IELTS-dedicated centre in Auckland that will enable test takers to complete their reading, writing and listening tests on computer.
Michael James, Director IELTS Operations, New Zealand, said the new computer-delivered test puts test takers first by offering more test sessions a week and faster results while still maintaining the trust, integrity and security that is relied upon by the organisations who accept the results.
“The introduction of a new way of testing allows for all sections of the test to take place on the same day,” said Mr. James.
“Test takers have the flexibility to undertake the IELTS test when they want and receive their results within five to seven days.”
The new test centre will cater to the many international students and workers Auckland attracts who need to sit a recognised English test for migration, study or professional reasons.
