The IELTS Centre is part of the Unitec Institute of Technology and has been delivering IELTS tests for over 20 years. The friendly team at our IELTS Centre ensures test takers enjoy a great test experience.
The IELTS Unitec Institute of Technology is proud to offer both computer-delivered IELTS and paper-based IELTS.
The Speaking test is conducted on the same day as the Listening, Reading and Writing tests. Tests are delivered using small rooms. All tests are offered at our Mt Albert Campus close to the Mt Albert train station and many frequent bus routes. Free parking is available on Saturdays next to the test venue in Building 170.
At Unitec Institute of Technology, you can prepare for your IELTS test with an IELTS Preparation course which runs regularly throughout the year.

Practise the IELTS General Training test under test conditions and get valuable experience before sitting the real test to increase your confidence by gaining insight into the test format and types of questions.
You’ll practise the Listening, Reading and Writing tasks and get an indicative band score for Writing and a raw score for Listening and Reading.
